but I like him anyway. He should be really nice as an adult. Does anybody else keep these?

no, but after seeing that guy, I think I might look into it. where'd you pick him up from? he's pretty...err...handsome :)

Thanks

I got him from the Joliffs at the Colombus, OH show at the end of 2003. He looks much better now than he did as a baby. He really was pink and brown when I got him.

If i'm correct in thinking those are White side Black rats (aka Licorrice Stick). Yeah, I know of a few folks that keep 'em. I can think of at least two people off the top of my head on this forum.

I'd like too but MO conservation laws states no Black Rats or morphs without a permit, which I don't have yet but will shortly.

They are neat!

Sorry Rich

You want me to delete my posts or will you just delete the whole thread? When I go to edit my first one, it doesn't give me the option to delete.

Thanks

I don't know how to move a thread, but if this one gets deleted I'll start one up in General Chit Chat about licorice black rats. On a corn-related note, I'm planning on getting some licorice corn/black rat hybrids this season if they are produced as planned. I would love to see a white sided snake with a corn's dorsal colors. Yours are very nice looking. Personally, I prefer the ones like your male with less obvious banding, but I'd say they'll both turn out very nice. It looks like they have cleaner sides than mine-he's speckled a good bit on the neck.

ooooooooooooooooooo what kind of snake is that? are they agreesive? how big do they get? they are perty
