I wouldn't, its been done but I just cant resist.

I was checking out a local ma & pa pet store a while ago. I wanted to price their feeders and take a look at their stock. I walked in and ambled around, looking at the food, equipment, and fish. Then, I passed some reptiles and then, I came to a 10 gallon holding a normal corn. The corn was just coiled in the corner and with her was a large mouse who was wandering around the tank. Now, I had been wandering around for over 5 minutes and had not seen anybody in the store. Not a soul. I didn't hear anyone in the backroom but assumed they were in there. I kept browsing when I am guessing the owner walked in the entrance. She had been next door at a bookstore. She seemed surprised I was there, made sure there was nothing I needed help with and went to the backroom. Poor cornsnake was left unattended for who knows how long. I left before something bad happened.

The store has been there as long as I can remember and I really cant understand how they are still doing business. I never see anybody in there.
