I have had Oculus my 10" Amel for two days now and absolutly adore him.

He was fed last friday and i intend to feed him again on sunday night when i leave for a week, just to make sure he doesnt starve... once i get back its a hardcore diet of 1 mouse a week :p

Here are the photos, I really do apologize for the poor quality!

you might want to really feed him in a different tub or bowl so the bedding doesnt get swallowed. it could be bad for them. but im glad he is a good feeder

That's a cute snake, but it seems to be dangerous to feed on the subrate...or in the cage, because as long as you feed your snake in the cage, sooner it thinks your hand is a prey, but that's my opinion...

i didn't even think about that -slaps hand to face- i'm not so bright and i feed all my babies in seprate contaners from there tanks with no substrate in them i'm soooo dumb for not noticing

Ok guys thanks for the advice. Glad you guys find him cute and adorable. Most of the time i cant wait for him to come out of his hide so i can admire him.

Yea im thinking of going out tonight and getting the few things I still need.

Thermometer
Hygrometer
Feeding bowl

Then I also gotta make some new hides for him :p

I never knew corns (snakes in general) had so many requirements like temp, air moisture etc. Glad i've found this site.
