It's Jager time!
Heres my new wee beautiful tiny stunning amazing shiney silver captive bred Candoia paulsoni tasmai!!! Can you tell I'm excited?

I have wanted any candoia species for a long time now, but I refuse to buy parasite ridden WC animals that just don't last long in captivity. Theres just not enough people working with this genus of amazing pacific boas!

Theses are commonly known as the Halmahera Island Boa or more commonly known as the bevel nosed boa in the US and they come from, well Halmahera Isle in the Solomon Islands.

I got the breeder (Thanks so much Linda) to pick me out the lightest baby and I couldn't be happier. Unfortnaley because they are so small it's impossible to sex them at this age so I'll have to wait a while before I can pair him/her up. But for now... Heres Blythe - my miniscule silver boa! :dancer:

Holy Crap! You are so freakin' lucky. You should be prohibited from posting pictures of your beautiful, rare CB, snakes. You do this to make us a jealous, and you know it... LOL
Seriously though, you have the coolest snakes. Good luck with them all...

What a gorgeous little baby Elle!
I saw a table with adults at Daytona and was just floored. They were some of the prettiest snakes I had ever seen. The ones he had were all CB, but he was not selling any. They were for display only...I probably wouldn't have been able to afford one if they were for sale!
Congrats on your new addition - I will certainly enjoy seeing this one grow up!

Oh wow! Look at that color!
So tiny... now this might just be my imagination, but is the little one calm? She/ He seems so chill in the pictures!

Thanks for the nice comments folks!

I like what I like, and I refuse to buy WC animals when I can pay a little more for excellent quality CB animals. Some people arent willing to pay the price, but IMO it saves you soooo much in the long run knowing exactly where the animal came from and knowing you have support from the breeder if anything goes wrong.

Stunning :)

reminds me of Sweetpea only less green!

It's nothing like sweetpea LOL... it's a boa and it's not green hee hee

Thanks Katie... I can't wait to get Blythe home (It's at my parters for quarantine at the moment). I hope s/he takes the dads lovely silvery looks :)

Oh and yeah Blythe is so chilled out. Not a hint of aggression! And feeding perfectly (Blythe ate tonight actually) which is unusual for this species at such a young age.
