Oh the Snow

I do not envy any of it.

I went out to run errands today, pick up a frame and matting for the photo we're giving to Kristi's parents, and we went out in t-shirts and jeans. Now we are off to a wine and dessert party.

But I hope you all are enjoying it!

Just an update on the snow here, lol

More fun pictures from Baltimore! We are going to total between 20 and 30 inches. WOW..... more than I have ever seen in my life. I want to go lay down in it....if only I had a real snow outfit. Someone remind me to go get boots. Here is Riley the golden in the place Lauren shoveled 4 times already...yikes...and some Raven's Football flamingos (yep..there are two) and how amazing the christmas lights look in the neighborhood!

We have about 35 inches I think we may get off Monday and Tuesday and maybe Wednesday because it is a half day

Oops I ment 25 inches

Roanoke broke it's record from the early part of last century today with 16.5"

Crazy!

It's been a while since I have seen this much snow here. I wasn't here for the 2003 blizzard, so the last one for me was '96. I was your age, David, and we were out of school for an entire week. Woot! :dancer:

I love the snow! I fed all the 3's today and the Radiated looks to be ready to move up to peach fuzzies! Woot! Woot! I really love to open my blinds and clean tubs and watch the snow!

I remember that snow Lauren it was great!!! I live in Montgomery County so I know we won't have school at least until Wednesday our school bord is afrid of law suits from parents, lol Though on the news they said DC and Baltimore City was considering school due to the amount of children who receive free meals which is kind of sad being I doubt side streets will be clear and our metro is shut down until further notice:(

Haah, gotta love the Ravens flamingos. My dad's still planning on going to the game tomorrow, the nut.

Cute puppy!

David, when I was 16 I would have been outside in it all day. Matter of fact, I'm 49 and I was outside in it most of the day.
Okay all you snow-haters, justification. We just lost power (it's back, out just over an hour), but I was looking at no heat, 20° overnight temps, lotsa snow.

Ouch! I'm glad the heat came back on for you. Huddling together for warmth sounds a lot more fun than it actually is.

Hasn't started here yet. We are expected to get 12-24 inches. I too work in healthcare & have to work tomorrow morning. I am ~SO~ not looking forward to that!

I don't mind snow all that much but digging out a car buried in 3-5 FOOT plow drifts does not make me happy.:angry01:

I grew up in the snow. I will never again live where people shovel driveways. It was 65* here today. My gardener mowed and fertilized the lawn last week.

My wife just suggested I post some pictures of the flowers in my back yard. It's too dark, sorry.

I'm sure that was your wife's suggestion, lol Wade your mean if you were here I'd bury you in the snow:dgrin:

I am not really sure how much we have here. I shoveled my driveway and the neighbor next to me 3 times today. Just finished about 5 minutes ago. It is still coming down. But it is drifting all over the place. I did my driveway first, and it has almost a inch of snow covering it.
