I checked the whole tank for his skin. :shrugs:
 
yup - he should shed in a few days now. Make sure you don't let the humidity get too low in your tank, and keep your eyes open for the skin. If the skin is whole, you will know that the humidity was high enough. If the shed is in pieces, you will know that you need to increase it for next time.
 
you don't need to mist it during the day penguin - if you are worried just put a moist hide in the cage
