Olive - '09 Phantom

Nice! Yea, I seem to remember looking at your phantoms and thinking they looked a lot like Olive. She definitely has a special look to her! I love how clean she's stayed over the years. Her head has become totally patternless and her belly checkers are a very light grey. I can't remember if I ever asked Sean about her genetics. Wouldn't be surprised if something was hidden in there. Don't remember too much about the Masque gene other than its confusing!

Everybody always thinks Vash is homo Diffused too. He also surprised me last year by proving at the very least het Anery A and possibly even homo Anery A, which was not listed as a possible het for him. Got me wondering if a number of the Phantoms from VMS aren't in fact Platinums.

This is Vash, you can see his sides are completely diffused.

But his belly checks look like this.

This is the female, Stormy. They were from separate clutches and one is about a month older.

Awesome! The whole clutch had a very neat look about them. They either had nice patterns and looked similar to Olive in her baby pic, or they were VERY light and look like what I'd expect Vash looked like as a baby. Olive's belly checkers Look a lot like Vash's as well. They have that kind of split look to them near the neck, which I believe is a het marker.

Just got this girl back from Jen who said she thinks she's ovulating, but I would not attempt to breed her this season. If she's doing well next year though you never know!

Olive has been on somewhat of a hunger strike this summer. She's settling in though, shed, and took a decent sized mouse! Silly girl, brumation is for winter! ;)

She will be fed straight through the winter considering how little she ate this summer. She is fresh shed though, so I figured I'd share a few of my favorite pictures.

Love that pattern

You know we want that full body pic!

Her pretty belly

And just the cutest face ever. IMO ;)

I just love how she turned out, that she held onto her pattern, and she didn't yellow up to much.
