Bah! So We had them for about a month, and I guess the lid wasn't secure enough for a small corn. We had our bigger one in that tank before we decided to to upgrade her tank with no issues....but it has a slide in lid which apparently leaves gaps big enough for a small corn.

This was about 2 weeks ago. We tore the house apart looking for him. 2 days ago I finally turned off his heater and closed that chapter. Tonight while I was laying in bed my other half comes into the bedroom to grab the phone charger and says "OMG There's Gusto!" I woke straight up. He was just chillin on the box under the nightstand next to the bed. Scooped him up and I think he was just as relieved to be found. He didn't try to run, he just crawled around on my hand a bit, then curled up in the nook of my elbow. I put him back in his tank and sealed the edges with some duct tape til tomorrow (he can't come in contact with the tape in any way, shape, or form).

I put him back in his tank and kicked his heater back on. He went straight to the water and drank for a bit before curling up in the corner above his heating pad. He has been sleeping since...

I was super thrilled to have found him tonight...first escape and hopefully the last.
