Thinking about getting this one shoulder mounted. He really is pretty! Not too many have such dark hair on them. Pretty even rack too so I think it would make for a good mount.

I'm not a hunter, but my aunt and uncle are avid hunters. Elk and deer mainly--up in coastal Washington. They make the BEST kielbasa and pepperoni sticks... Plus all the other goodies--sausages, steak, elk burger... Dinner at their house is always a treat! They got 3 elk this season. Yummy!

Thanks I really enjoy the sticks and Jerky! Jerky is my fav!!! I dont hunt either... but I help Dad enjoy his hehe I wouldnt mind hunting but... the rule is, you hunt it, you kill it, you gut it.... I cant do the 3rd thing. I gots me a strong stomache but not That strong! LOL

Congrats to your dad, my brother in law got one about the same size here in KY, He called me while I was on stand on a hard wood ridge to help drag him out. Was a bad windy weekend opener for us. But after a good hang time I got him cut and will be making jerkey all week this week. And awww someone would help you do the third thing surely lol

LOL I dont know about that. My dad usually hunts alone so... not much sympathy there LOL
We had a really nasty opening weekend here too. Was very windy and cold. I dont think it got above freezing all day. Then the icy rain, sleet and finally turning to snow... started early, like 5am, and went on all day. Was really nasty. We seen quite a few working their elbows to warm up when we went in for registering LOL
