Orb Weaver

Well since it's not a herp I will put it here. This little spider lives on my back porch. It spun a huge web under the banister down to the floor. The spider is about the size of a quarter legs and all. I really like how the picture turned out and wanted to share it.

Nice! There is an orb weaver living in the tree in my front yard I've been meaning to take a picture of. Last year I had one out my front door and named her "Henrietta". I didn't name the one this year.

Not an Orb Weaver this time. I found a couple Wolf Spiders. One ran away and I caught the other. I put her in a bucket while I gathered some wood and moss to make a nice background for a photo inside of a big clear deli dish (for shipping snakes). Put the spider in. Got the spider to stand where I wanted her. Then took a picture. Picture turned out blurry. She ran a little. Took another picture. It turned out good. Getting ready to take another and little Miss Spider ran away!

Only good picture I got of her. I only guess "her" because of the size.
