Hey guys, today on the train station i felt a bad pain on my arm, i looked and a big spider was there biting me, ever since i have not stopped itching.. I'm rather worried the spider give me something "sounds stupid" but i donno, its just rather annoying me..

It's just a reaction to the venom. Maybe take an antihistamine till the itching goes away. You can't "catch anything" from spiders that I am aware of. Oh, aspirin or Ibuprofen would help if there is pain.

Get some Benadryl, works like a charm for insect or spider bites. Works great on dogs too, my JRT tries to catch wasps and gets stung at least once a year, he swells up like a balloon until I get Benadryl into him

I just noticed the Falcon in your signature! WOW! Pics! I demand pics! LOL! :D

George, how do you think you're going to react if your prospective scorpion stings you? You should think about that before getting one. Don't plan on it never stinging or pinching you.

She is 100% correct.
You think a spider bite is bad, Ha!, that's nothing.
I took a hit from a 6th instar (let's just say tiny) bark scorpion the knocked me on my behind for 2 days.
Got me on the finger and the pain spread all the way up my arm and shoulder.
I could not move my arm for 2 days without feeling the most horrible pain I have ever felt. I had to sleep (well try to at least) in a recliner because I could not lay down.

Some scorps venom is concidered "medically signifigant". Be VERY careful. They are fast and depending upon the type can seriously mess you up.

If you are having a bad reaction to the spider bite, you may want to reconsider a scorpion. A lot of the ones on the market pack a punch.
