Our new addition.....BECKY!!!

Well, last night at 7:05pm central time, little Rebecca Margaret came to join us!!! She was impatient and decided to show up 5 weeks early though, which scared us a little, but she is doing just fine. She had to be put on assisted breathing last night because of some fluid, but today, she is breathing just fine on her own and we even got to hold her. She looks just like big sister Abby did, only with blonde hair! She weighed in at 5 pounds, 14 ounces and 19 1/4". Well..... Here she is!

Awww, Congratulations Eddie, she is absolutely adorable!!!!!!!! :D

How's Mum doing? Hope it's not long before you can bring the littl'un home!

((((Eddie)))) She is just adorable!!! When you posted your announcement on FB, I was worried, I knew she was early, but wasn't sure HOW early. How long will she be in the NICU? I'm so glad to hear that she's breathing well on her own. I'm sure that was scary for both you and mom....and how IS mom? How is big sister? I'm sure she's dying to see the new bundle?

Congratulations, Eddie! You're obviously destined to be surrounded by beautiful women!

Anna is actually doing GREAT. Abby hasn't seen her yet. I sent her to New Orleans with my brother since they won't let her in to the NICU. I wish I knew when she will be able to come home, but she's doing great, so it shouldn't be very long. Thanks everyone!! Hopefully I can get some pictures soon without the IV in her head!

Oh my gosh! She's gorgeous! She shouldn't be there too long if she's breathing on her own well. I've never seen the IV in the head! That's different! Scooter's was put directly through his belly button(well, I guess it wasn't really a belly button yet was it?) and then put through his neck and shoulder.

Thanks so much, everyone! I had never heard of the IV in the head either... All I know is that I am so tired and sooooo happy! I can't wait for Abby to meet her!

The IV in the head is not uncommon...but the fact they they are letting you hold her is a great sign. CONGRATS!

If it wasn't for the bad smells, whining for food, nightmares, etc...babies would all be perfect. Wait, that describes most of us dads, too......lol.

Wow, she's gorgeous! I'd kind of forgotten you were expecting, and saw this thread, but didn't look, and kept reading elsewhere that you had a beautiful new addition, and thought I'd finally look, and Becky is just not what I was expecting!!! Congratulations!!

CONGRATULATION!
She's beautiful Eddie. I bet she'll be coming home in no time.

When I first saw the title to this thread I thought you were trying to show me a new boa. LOL

She is absolutely adorable!

That IV in here head really made me squirm though, I HATE IVs! lol.

Huge Congrats to you and your wife!
