Our new baby, plus updates on the others :)

Yesterday on Facebook I noticed a post on a buy/sell/trade group I am a part of from a family in desperate need of a home for their Chinese water dragon. They had been moving her tank (thankfully she wasn't inside) and the tank somehow hit the wall and shattered. I'm pretty peeved at the set up they had for her, all rock and no climbing other than a slightly taller stone. This is the photo her owners sent me of her tank before it broke:

Apparently they rescued her a year ago. She had mouth rot and was on antibiotics and syringe fed until recently. I'm suspecting some mbd based on her wonky mouth, she has an underbite. She is also missing her upset teeth. This poor thing spent two days in a cardboard box between the toilet and bathtub with no heating or lighting.

I picked her up last night and we are setting up a 55 gallon while we build her a Vivarium. We are thinking 8 feet long by 4 feet by 4 feet.

We plan to get some weight on her, she is on the thin side.

On another note:

My Amelanistic corn has put on 3 grams and is a super eater. They have also had two perfect sheds.

Unfortunately our other corn, the dark one, turned out to be a non feeder and passed away. My husband got a butter motley corn from a reputable reptile store about an hour from us and he has been a great feeder. The store kept all his feeding records so we have good history for him.

Our two crested geckos are doing fantastic. Nova, the dalmation is 9 grams now, up from 7, and the flame gecko is now 3 grams, up from 2.

BTW, the coco fiber in the tank was removed. I had to stick her there to get things for her tank. She is currently on paper because any substrate gets stuck to her mouth because it is always slightly open. We do have her vet records from last may when she was treated for mouth rot.
