Looks like a Jungle Motley. Very Nice!!!

I was curious as to if he was a motley...I didn't know too much about the genetics of the king snake and wasn't sure if the solid belly was a trait of the king or if it was the motley trait of the corn. I know his saddles resemble a motley pattern of a corn.

We're not too familiar with the Jungle morph, should we keep it separated at all times from the rest of our corns due to it's kingsnake crossing?

yes.. keep them seperated! congrats to the new fella!! realy nice!!(from me that dont realy like hybrides)

My Jungles have checkered bellies. That and that pattern looks quite motley also. Congrats on a great purchase. I'm truly jealous.

Curious question about his behavior...it seems that everytime that we take him out of his cage he like to open his vent and start jerking as if there was a female around. He is in a room with one other male cornsnake and that's it. I try to wash my hands after handling the other cornsnakes but is it possible he picking up on a faint scent of one of our female snakes on our skin?

Seems more likely that he is acting like a King Snake and is opening his vent in preparation to musk you. But it could be that he is smelling a lady, but if you are washing, then I think it's unlikely.

He has only musked once because he got really spooked by a movement that my girlfriend made and he freaked out in my hands but he didn't jerk that time...my girlfriend said that when she was holding him that she saw his hemi-penis come out as well as a clear fluid and only when did she hold him did he start jerking and I believe it was because she was holding one of our females earlier on that evening.

Ooop, sounds like he's in love with your girlfriends arm. Did you happen to have Barry White plaing at the time? :grin01:
