Sienna, Trogdor & Melony
Well, I haven't updated in a while, and I got a few nice pictures of the snakes outside a week or two ago when it was actually warm out (unlike today), so I thought I'd post a few!

I'll start with Sienna, our 7 month old normal:

Here is Sienna enjoying some sunshine

And here she is in one of her favorite places - wrapped around a pony tail (my sister's hair this time)

Here's Trogdor, our 10 month old lavender (het opal):

Trogdor playing in the thyme

And now, last, but not least, is Melony our 8 month old Amel het Opal:

Hopefully all these will work properly, I'm a little nervous about doing this without the edit button.

Anyway, hope you guys enjoy these!

Beautiful little snakes! I really like your automatic hair ribbon modeled by your sister. It's a shame you can't guarantee it will stay around the ponytail or I would let my daughter wear one.

Spoken like a true Mom! Actually, it would be a cold day in hell before my mom would even look at one on purpose!

BTW, I like Trogdor a lot. Contact me for my shipping info! :crazy02:

Nice lot!

Hehehe, you guys are pretty entertaining.

It is too bad that they are not guarenteed to stay put, with the "collection" that I have I could accessorize with all my outfits. Well...maybe I would have to add a few more snakes just for good measure....just a few

Unfortuantely, Goldtop, Trogdor is not going anywhere (surprise!), however in a few years I plan to breed him with Melony and they should produce some pretty lavenders. I am hoping that they have the coloring he does. We will see!!!!

I'd meant comment on your pics before and didn't, it almost slipped away from me . . . I have to watch out about checking the forum when I only have a few minutes, sometimes things slp away from me!

It looks like your 3 are healthy and happy! Isn't that cool? My hubby was commenting last night that he can't believe that our snakes are doing so well. LOL I'm not sure what he expected tho . . . LOL

Anyway, they are all just beautiful. Sienna makes a great hair accessory! And it's funny, Rhiannon loves hair too!!! She'll get herself all up in mind if I let her, but since I don't wear a pony tail it doesn't end up looking too classy. LOL

I see the kids are doing well. The photos are very nice as well. It will be interesting to see what kind of patterns you get from this pair. At first, the Lavs pattern looks normal, but with closer inspection, it has some hint of Aztec by his neck. I bet you get some nice unusual patterns in their offspring.

Frankly, I'm disappointed. Trogdor is outdoors, and he isn't burninating the countryside. ;)

Nice group you have there, Katie!

regards,
jazz

Wow! I thought this thread was done, how exciting to see a revival!

Joe, I am really loving this pair! I can hardly wait to see what kind of babies they produce, and the patterns that they will have. Its all so exciting. Unfortunately, it looks like Melony is still 2 seasons away from reaching breeding size (she is the biggest pig out of the three, but she's still growing more slowly than Sienna did.....although Sienna is a beast, so maybe I shouldn't compare to her). Anyway, both kids are doing fabulously and I really couldn't have picked a better pair. Thanks so much Joe!

Mary, I'm glad to hear your three are doing so well (despite being mis-sexed...how was that determined though, I must have missed that somewhere...) and that your husband seems to be enjoying them too. Its always nice when that works out.

And Jazz...I swear he does it...I'll just have to catch it on film next time. Hehehe ;)
