Panther, freshly shed.

It's Jager time!
Panther is my 03 coral snow. Hes my biggest corn weighing over 800 grams.

Hes also the sweetest boy you could imagine. He likes to stretch accross the back of the couch and watch horror movies with me and my partner :)

Everytime he sheds (which is almost every month, unusual for an adult corn?) he changes quite dramatically. His yellow just keeps getting brighter and continues to spread down his body. I don't mind it too much...

This time, his green borders just popped out!

Ventrum shot - hes like a completely different snake underneath. And he has 2 adult mice in him :p

Appologies for the crap photography. I need to get him outside again when the weather is ok.

I really like the third photo he seems to be saying "I's got my eye on you!"

Good to see him again he's always such a lovely boy.

Panther is just beautiful;) I just bought my daughter a coral and a regular snow this year..Can hardly wait to see them looking big like that!!

He does look yellower and less pink, unless it's just the lighting. He's a big boy, but he doesn't really look overweight-- just robust. I love that third pic (the close-up head shot).

He IS much more yellow... hes getting on a bit and as we know yellow accumulates with age.

Hes all muscle too btw, theres nothing squishy about him!

Thanks guys

Wow he's stunning! And your are right... he's huge! :) So does he only like horror movies or is in into chic flicks and such? :)

Hes mostly into gore and vampire flicks... Yeah he has taste.

He tends to sort of slither away under the cover when kissing scenes come on though... hes at that stage where girls are yuckie :p

Tula, your Panther there has the same movie genre tastes as I do! I have yet to expose either of my corns to movies yet (they don't sit still long enough to pay attention  ), but from the way they enjoy crawling around on my Hellraiser series figures and on my entire collection of Jurassic Park dinosaurs, I know they're going to grow up to love horror/sci-fi!

Panther is a beauty, by the way. I do hope to have my boys grow up in the 800g range.

Thanks Gina. I think movies with snakes is a great activity. My Bolivian boa likeS chick flicks and comedies, Panther loves horror and miss Lacey loves a good tear jerker!

The hatchlings manage a 15 min episode of Mr Bean then they get bored, babies don't have a huge attention span LOL

You can pick up a nice coral snow fairly cheap in the US... And IMO they are a key ingrediant for any multi het breeding project ie proving out unknown hets as you can test for hypo, amel and anery all at the same time :) A striped or motley coral would prove out every common gene!

Well... I got a pairing that could be fun: hypo bloodred x blizzard

I can't wait for three years to go by at this point! I am so confused I'll probably change my mind a million times. :grin01:

Ooooo hets for hypo avalanche with some lovely side products....

Hypo pewters, fires, pewters, avalanches etc etc. Nice project

Thanks, I think so too!

My little hypo-bloodred is gonna be busy... he also has a hypo-lav girlfriend. :grin01:

Oh my (eyes bugging out)! If there is a baby coral snow anywhere in the building at the Tampa expo, it will probably be going home with me! Do all coral snows have colors like that??

Some corals look much better than Panther.... usually they are saturated in pink, even more than he is!

IMO hes a bad example of a coral (hypo) snow. Heres some fabulous examples: photo credit to Joe Pierce, Joni Garcia and Susan.
