Parseltongue's second shed?

Hi.
I have had Parseltongue for 6 weeks now. She had her first shed with me a week after I got her. Before this she was burrowing under her substrate or under her log all the time. After her shed she was very active and was visible all the time. I havent seen her out since I fed her on Monday, as she has gone back to hiding under her log. Is she due another shed? I don't want to handle her just before a shed incase I disrupt it. When I fed her, she ate fine as usual, her eyes were clear. She is due another feed on Monday. Should I carry on if she hasnt shed or is she likely to reject it?
Thanks
Hannah

I'd take a peek at her now. If she's blue, if it was me, I would just skip the meal until she has shed. You won't disrupt the shed, but she may or may not eat. If she does eat, there is a very tiny chance she could regurge. Not enough that people don't feed blue snakes, but I'll tell you that all of my snakes that have regurged have been fed when they were going blue and I couldn't tell yet. I don't know what the relationship is, but there is one. IF I have already thawed the mouse before I discover the snake is blue, and there isn't someone else that can eat it, and it is a snake that has never regurged before, I will go ahead and feed rather than wasting the mouse.

ok so, Parseltongue still hasn't shed so I havent fed her yet. She hasn't eaten since the 10th. She is only a baby, can she go that long without eating or should I just try feeding her anyway? I think her eyes have cleared a bit now, so does that mean she should shed soon?
Thank you
xx

With my three younger corns-minus the one that is missing now :( I've always gone ahead and fed them even during their shedding process...they have never regurged or not eaten one because of being in shed. However, my older corn snake Diamond is very picky about not eating when she/he is in shed. So it just depends on yr corn snake and what you what to do. When Diamond was a younger corn snake up until I would say 1 1/2 she didn't have any problems eating when in shed but then she got picky about it and stopped eating during shed. When she/he goes into shed I wait until 2 days after she has shed to feed her again. Good luck!
