Paula the Pewter

She's an '05 Serpenco. It's been a loooong time since I posted pics of her, I think. I love her look, but there's no denying that she has very poor diffusion. I've joked before that if I sell her, I'm going to label her as a charcoal motely. She has bounced back nicely from laying a clutch a few months ago. She was super-skinny after that, but she isn't now. ;)

The last pic is 3-d. Cross your eyes slightly and let the "middle" image come into focus.

Oww... that just hurt my eyes! Maybe its just me, but I didn't get the 3-D effect.

she's looking great Dean! So what if she doesn't have the diffusion. She is still unmistakeably a pewter!

Thanks Catherine. :) Her lack of diffusion doesn't bother me, although I wouldn't use her in a project where patternlessness was a goal.

I've been sat here with my eyes crossed. Then I thought "I bet Dean is sat there P***ing him self"
That is pretty funny, I have to admit. :grin01: But I wouldn't intentionally give you all migraines. This one shouldn't be too tough since it's vertically narrow. I think the wide ones are harder. You just cross your eyes slightly, and then wait for it to come into focus. You shouldn't be straining your eyes to get it. Good luck! ;)

This is one of your better 3-D shots. It works quite well for me, and I spent a long time looking at your pretty girl that way. I, too, like her a lot despite her undiffusion.

The 3-D worked for me too. Pretty cool, I have never seen that before. Nice snake! :grin01:

Thanks Stephanie and Dave.

That's new... a snake... that has my name. :sidestep:
She's really nice, Dean. :)
That's cool. Most of my snakes have common or semi-common human names. I haven't seen anyone with a snake named "Dean" yet. Thanks for the comment. :)

Wow! I got the 3D straight away, what a great effect Dean. It really looks like I've got Paula inside my monitor, now to figure a way to get her out!!! If only, if only, Lol

Thanks Susie. :) Yeah, it's a cool effect. When done right (and I don't always do it right), it makes for a very clear image. I like the way it realistically enhances the shine on a snake's scales.

That 3-D is past me, ive just given myself a headache!! Beautiful snake though, I really like the shine of her scales and how it shows off her great colour

Perhaps not the most perfect diffusion but ... she is, still, a beautiful gal!:)
Cute partial zig-zag, on her, too.
