Pewter

I know, she's the most photographed corn snake in America, but here's Paula again. Her saddles are starting to fade out laterally. It looks like someone is coarsely scraping off her darker saddle color. These scraped areas look very metallic in person, very much like actual pewter. I don't think it shows in the pics that well.

Yep, she is lovely, and I love seeing pics of that one!

Izumi shed last night and I noticed the same thing on her sides, they are lighter with an almost scraped look like you describe. Honestly, at first I thought she'd had some sort of shedding accident and her skin was damaged! But she is fine. I may try to get some pics later.

Thanks. Like most morphs, there's a lot of variation in the appearance of pewters. Many are very light, some are very dark, and then there's everything in between. I like them all. I'm hoping to produce dark pewters with my dark pair, but if this gal throws some light ones, I'll keep at least one for myself.

Yeah you're right, i like them all too! The same with Silverqueens, Ghosts, Anery's etc.
I personally like the Anery morphs better than the Amel morphs.
