pics, anyone?

Thank you all for the compliments on my snakes and their pics!

The background I use is blue aquarium stones, available at most pet shops in a wide variety of colors. I purchased a mixture of browns and white stones at the same time, but it didn't show as good a contrast as the blue (my favorite color).

Just for kicks, here is my pair of hypos het lavender. B.C., the male, has the darker background color. K.C., the female, looks almost Miami-ish, and has an "attitude". She strikes at me every time I have to do something with her or her tank. She doesn't even like to have her picture taken.

Mental,

So what's the deal with water snakes? Can you tell me about caring for them? What's their temperment? I know nothing about them, but aren't most poisonous? Sorry for the ignorance... I could talk your right ear off about corns, but I know nothing about other snakes (except rainbow boas). Tell me all about them!

I would love too, but shipping from Holland to Canada would be more than I can afford. We'll keep in touch and I might be able to consider it later. Plus my fiancee is not too keen on me getting any more snakes. She figures that I need to stop at two.

I also want a couple of beardies next and that is proving to be very very difficult to convice her of! Oh well. Thanks for the offer and It's great to talk about new things!

ok its a shame but never mind. bearded dragons are in my vieuw the best lizard you can get i got my 2 beardies on sunday at a reptile show its amazing the character they have i love them both i called them draco and pia. draco is very calm and spends most of his time sun bathing and pia is very wild and digs and climbs all over the place i shure you will enjoy them as i do mine :)

I hope it does work out, I spend a bit of time in the forum at ssnakess.com and hear all this great stuff about beardies and I want 2 so bad, but my fiancee thinks I want too many pets... nuts hey! I should tell her about people like you and some others on the forum that have tonnes of pets and then I wouldn't look so bad! LOL

hey Mental,

since this really has nothing to do with corns, I PM-ed you check your messages.
