Nah, it's really basic and cheap. I think it was about $100 + the flexwatt and thermostat. Maybe took two hours to make all the cuts and build, but that was because I was being a bit picky. It took almost as long to drag it into the house and wire the heat tape! There's a blueprint for this idea on arbreptiles.com, you don't have to burn a lot of calories to make something like this. One thing I would change is that I would put some heavyweight casters or wheels on it if I could do it over! If they didn't weigh a ton, I'd love to make 'em and sell them. There really is nothing to it if you have a drill, table saw, chop saw, and a handful of drywall screws. I solder the flexwatt instead of use clips, but either method works.
