This first shot is the least graphic of the near decapitation of this poor FOOD ITEM! I'll spare you the rest.
He had never been so aggresive with prey until this one. He just kept biting the neck and (assumingly) injecting "venom", until the head was nearly severed. Then he calmly went to the head and started swallowing :cool:

Now THAT'S an eager feeder. Does he eat whenever you try to feed him these days?

I like him. I'd like to see some more pics of him without a mouse in his face. After his next shed in 2009, you'll have to post some photos. ;)

Yeah, he hasn't refused in the last 6 or so meals!

That's no lie! He's shed once in the 8 months I've had him :eek1:

Wow, that's exactly how Zee "kills" and he'll hold the mouse like that for 15-20 minutes.

Addy has only shed twice since I got her in November, and I think the time right after I got her doesn't count. She has more than doubled her weight in that time. Maybe they just aren't prolific shedders.

Zee, OTOH, has shed at least three times since November.
