Ok, it felt funny typing that title. I can't get used to that trade name. Anyway, here's Vlad, my '05 Serpenco Lavender-Blood male. He's due to go blue any day now, but I thought he still looked pretty good tonight. I rarely see any of my snakes drink, so it surprised me when I scooped up his hide and he went for the water dish. I was fortunate enough to have camera in hand. There's a before, during, and after pic below, but who knows what order they'll upload in. His #1 girlfriend comes next week. :)

Keep buying snakes and you're gonna run out of room....and if that happens, I'll be glad to take the pewter off your hands; still by far the best looking snake I've seen. Besides, I've got the ingredients to make the lavender blood myself,:licklips: and definately looking forward to it.

Another of your beauties! And more of that diffused pattern going on. I am really keeping watch on how he turns out. Your hypo lavs are still my fave, but "vlad rocks" lol. :D
 
Ok I'm probably going to sound really stupid here... but what exactly makes a corn a "bloodred" I am still new to snakes...and I thought it was the color, that deep red almost patternless color.. but now I am seeing all different kinds and half of them aren't even red. So, sorry for sounding stupid and I don't mean to offend anybody and I hope I'm not... but I'd really like to know!!!
 
That little one has a cute face! Nice lavender hues too, the colors remind me of mythical dragons for some reason....

But seriously, Vlad is amazing! I can't wait to see pics of his gf - but be ready cause I'll probably ask you for her too!!! :rolleyes:

Thanks for the nice comments, everyone. Since you offered to be his godmother, Hana, you can have Vlad if I get hit by a bus. As for running out of room... that's the beauty of racks. :)

And for all would-be thieves, I know my corns like the back of my hand. You'd never be able to post pics, and that's half the fun! ;)

:roflmao: Good point! That's why I'm strongly considering getting my own forum here. That way, instead of someone thinking, "Ugh, he's hogging more bandwidth in the gallery posting his 28th thread about his damned dark pewter," they can just skip my forum altogether. My pic posting is a big part of my corn addiction. I'm proud of my collection, and except for one sister, no one in my real life gives two bleeps about my snakes. It's one of the reasons I love it here on this message board. :)

that is an awesome looking plasma. I love the purple, cant wait to see that guy in a year. Thats not a bad idea about getting a forum. I've considered it.
