One of my more, uh, time-consuming hobbies is photography. I'm going to be entering some stuff in a few shows in the near future and I'm hoping to sell more than I did last year and get my name out there a little more. If you could, take a look here http://photobucket.com/albums/y215/jrh312/Art Show Photos/ and let me know which 5 you like the best (and why would be helpful, but it would take longer to reply, so it's ok if you just give me your top 5). I put numbers above them, so it shouldn't be too hard to let me know what you like or don't like.

I have hundreds and hundreds of photos on my computer and those are the 13 I've narrowed it down to for now (although more will probably be added in the coming weeks since I go hiking with my camera every night after work and all day on my days off). Like I said, I'm hoping to sell these, so think of it as which ones you could see on somebody's wall...

Thanks for your time!

I'm always sucked into staring into the fire late at night while camping. Personally wouldn't vote for any of the rest.

no.3
no.10
no.1
no.12

i would just like to say

damn you are good at photography, i wouldnt mind having any of those in my living room, lol.

I especially like numbers 6 and 3, they areso tranquil!

good luck with the show, with photo's like that, i am sure you'll do just fine

you are an AWESOME photographer Jeff. I really enjoyed those. I would choose #6, #7, #8, #9 and #13. If I had to pick a favorite, it would be #13 because I love black and white shots. Thanks for sharing!

Agreed, number 1 is my number 1 by a fair margain, but as you wanted 5 my other 4 choices would be.

1
12
8
3
and 13
in that order with nuber 1 being 1 of the best fire pictures i've seen.

They're all very nice Jeff. You need to start looking into animal photography; by "animal" I mean reptiles and by "photography" I mean post them here for us to oogle. I for one am "shutter challenged". ;)

By far the best one IMO is #1. It has a very nice composition and color(not too much over the pictures as with some of the others). As far as originality, that one stands out from the rest. Waterfalls and sunsets are nice, but they are a little overdone(not to say that I don't enjoy looking at them, because I do) ;) .

I would place the rest in this order:

9
11
8
4

You did a great job with all of them. Thank you very much for sharing! :)

1 there not that great.... there awsome. and 2 did u take those with a didgital and if u did then im amazed that digitals can do that. :)

12 - I love old churches, and the night shot is excellent...nice touch!
13 - I would like to spend some time walking, looking and thinking there.
1 - Definately something to focus on to let your mind wander.
2 - Unique! This one would create deep conversation.
8 - Just because it's a great photo for a calendar and better than the remaining ones.

i liked 1, 3, 8, 12, and a tie between 9 and 10. In that order. I was going to say why i liked each pic but as i started typing it out i found that i was also putting what i would have liked to have seen or ways to cut the pic for more effect and then i thought that i would not like it if someone was telling me how to do my art. But i will say that in #10 if the sun had been in that little gap between the trees it would have been amazing. Not saying you should have found a better angle just my opinion. Oh and I have been told that my post come off rude some times so if any of this seems rude that was not my intention i just have problems typing out what i really mean.

I think a greater depth of focus would help on some...judging as an artist, though I only took 1 b&w photography class long ago
in order
7
9
1
12
6
13 would be next and last choice

#13 because it's B/W and features a cemetery (I'm partial to cemeteries)
#8 would be my top choice if it weren't for the cemetery thing.
#12 is just spectacular
#1 captures something so fleeting and intangible. It's fantastic.
#9 has an almost creepy undertone, like waiting for the bats to come out

You have a terrific talent. Good luck.

You have a real nice eye for pictures, Jeff...the waterfalls are awesome...Like Sister Di the cemetery is a hit with me...but...gotta say...love #2 :*)

Great Photos i think Nos 9 & 12 are my favourites then Nos 2 and 1 and No 6 as a fifth choice. Its very hard to sayThey really are great esp 9,12,2 and 1.I keep looking at them and changing my mind but i`m sure about the top 4 just not which order i`d put them in.
