Popcorn, one of my butter corns...

CornCrazy

What's one more???
This girl is a 2002 butter corn from Renegade Reptiles. She is a beautiful specimen, In my opinion. She has a wonderful yellow color..without much white at all.

This is the first time I've gotten any pictures of her that are pretty accurate as far as color. Typically her color always looks washed out...

I like the coloring a lot, its very mellow looking. I like the top pic, where shes mostly yellow with the little touch of orange on her cheek and side.

I also wanted to say I love the name!

Thanks! And she really has those little sprinkles of orange on her. She is definitely not colored like my other butters.

I can't believe you like her name...people are usually poking fun at it. :D

And mykal,
She is around 4 foot and close to 500 grams. I haven't measured or weighed her in a while, so that's just an estimate. It is in my plans to measure and weigh all of my snakes this weekend. It's a big task, though. I may have to weigh them this weekend and measure them next.

Wow she is very nice. Also large for a 2002. Due you have any breeding plans for her? Looks like I am going to have to get in touch with Rick when I am ready for some Butters. I was actually talking to him not to long ago about getting a male to go with the Motley possable het Butter girls that we are getting from Misty. Looks like I need to fallow up :) All of our currant snakes are from them and they have great animals.

Well, she was actually bred this year. She laid 14 gorgeous eggs. All but one hatched. I bred her to a butter het motley. None of her babies were motley so unfortunately she is not het motley. I love her regardless. She is my favorite butter corn.

Next year, I will probably breed her to a different male butter if he is big enough. If he isn't, then I may breed her to one of my motley males. I have one that is absolutely gorgeous. I'd like to see how their offspring would turn out. I would probably keep a pair of the babies, also, since they would all be het butter motley.
