Before anyone jumps on me for the size of my hides, they are filled with substrate, so the snakes DO feel secure in them :rolleyes:

Actually Damien is in the top left, I posted a picture of him inside the tub a few week ago, he has plenty of space.. :D
The reason he's in there is because Molly my royal python is getting bigger by the day and therefor I put her in the bottom viv with lots of hides and a log, she's still eating and drinking and gaining weight so I guess she's not stressed in there.

kool. how do you heat them all dude? have you got heatmats set up and stuff? are they all connected to one thermostat thingy or something?
 
Frank has a UVB lamp and a heat lamp
The snails are on room temp of 75-80
All the snakes have there own heat mats, Molly the royal has her own thermostat, Damien and Sabrina are both corn snakes and share a thermostat set at 85F :)

sounds good dude. it looks really good, especially the two grey ones on top of each other.
How have you set it up so that they are sharing a thermastat? One of my tanks has a thermastat but the other one with dezmond doesnt have a thermastat. He has been good as gold all the way without on but still i am going to get on set up on there. However there actually really dear! lol so if you could let me know how you did that so there sharing one, it would be helpful. :)

Hey mate, the mats must be the same size and wattage, otherwise it won't work. You need a two way adapter that will plug into the heater plug attachment on the thermostat. Hopefully, with a little fiddling you'll achieve the same temperatures.
 
Nice pics, George! Brett, many thermostats allow you to plug in more than one device, as long as you don't exceed a certain wattage, which would be difficult with the small matts we use. Optimally, the viv sizes and matt sizes and even brands ought to match.
 
iv just had a look at my two tanks, at the min there in seperate rooms. Im pretty sure that the heat mats are the same size and type so i prossume there the same wattage but i dont have the packaging so im not 100 percent. But i DEFFINATELY want to get the tanks together and set up on the same thermostat just so i can have that extra confidence that dezmond is gettin the correct temps as well.
i will try and sort them both out in the next few days.

I was wondering though guys, my other tank is empty at the minute but soon i will be gettin an adult female in replace of dezmond. So will it be fine to have my male and female above each other or would they be able to 'scence' each other??
I prosume it will be fine, il put them together when i want to breed them but theyl be in sepereate tanks til then anyways.
