Portland Expo Pick-ups! (Ok, so it's not Daytona, but hey ~shrugs~) :)

Tallulah's Mama
Well, here in Oregon we have to take what we can get ~LOL~ I'm sure the one small conference room at the Holiday Inn is nothing like what everyone saw at Daytona, but I am still pretty pleased with what I got :)

1st up: Aneira, a ghost mot ph stripe female from Jen @ Ghosthouse. Very sweet and mellow.

Next is her future mate: Bryn, a anery cube het hypo, also from Jen. He has been in blue since I picked him up, so it will be interesting to see his colors once he sheds.

And last but not least: Catrin, a hypo bloodred female from Nancy @ Greasy Creek Corns (who also bred Hywel, my snow). I was not planning on picking up a hypo bloodred, but I fell in love with her pink cuteness :) Also in blue so I anticipate even more pink cuteness in the future!

Very nice pick ups.
Love the ghost motley.
I have found that at some of the smaller shows, you often pick up some of the best snakes. You get the best pick of the breeders there. The breeders at the bigger ones probably have been to many shows before hand and sold there better ones already.

Thanks, all! :)

Paul: I was only disappointed because I had 2 morphs on my want list and no one had either! ~LOL~ ah well, still found 3 that I liked ~grins~

Well it was nice to meet you Nichole and it was a fun little show. I am sure those guys will do well for you, Nancy has some great stuff as well congrats on the little hypo blood! TBH for being such a little show I thought there were some nice corns there, not the best selection but what there was was good quality. If I was into Reverse Okeetees I would have come home with a new snake, there was a breeder there with the nicest RO's I have ever seen.
The cube should look a lot prettier after the shed, if it was a female it would have been a keeper for sure.

Nice to meet you, also, Jen. I do love the little cube's pattern, and he has such a mellow personality, also. I am really excited to see him after he sheds. I remember the hatchling pics you first posted of him. That was when I first fell in love him and was so glad you still had him at the show! :)

I saw those RO's also and thought the same thing. I just have nothing to pair with one ~LOL~ But they were interesting looking.

Tropical Hut had some nice hypo lavs, I almost got one but I really wanted a hypo lav mot ~grins~ You know, I am still thinking about the beautiful amel mot you had at your table. Did you ever sell her? (it was a girl or am I mis-remembering?)

Well the amel motley didn't sell so I brought her home with me, she is a nice one. Guess it doesn't break my heart that she is still here. The breeder for that snake was Joe Pierce but I acquired her from someone else. I never saw the hypo lavs at Tropical Hut, but I absolutely refused to come home with a new snake so I was trying not to look at anything LOL!

Good plan. If I'd had any more cash on me that amel mot would have come home with me ~LOL~ My bf was actually quite pleased with me that I only brought home 3. He was very impressed with my restraint!

Bryn shed! And ate!

Alright, Bryn finally shed. I took him out for a few photos and then fed him. And he ate, no problem! Yippie!!! After my non-feeder death earlier this summer I am a little paranoid about new babies not eating now :)

Bryn looks BEAUTIFUL! He is very pale and bright now. So excited to see his true colors now.
