Progression thread for Atari, Thai Bamboo Ratsnake

Ouch! Yeah, figured a pet store would be over priced! That's nice that they get different stuff in though.

And a few more of Atari that my husband took a few minutes ago. He was living up to the name Racer, LOL! But he did calm down after a few minutes.

Awesome, I love how specifically labeled it is, when and what it was fed. Beautiful snake too but that goes without saying.

Yes, I was overall pretty happy with the place I got him from. Paid a bit too much for him but that was because they were about the only ones to have any that early in the year, so I guess that's okay. And he should be as unrelated to my female as its possible to get.

Moved Atari to a 20L tank a few days ago as he was getting quite big for his 10, he seems to like the extra space. Took a few pictures, I like how this one looks!

Then a kind of crappy picture of the whole thing, had the wrong lens in to get the shot and didn't feel like changing it so I just used my cheap point and shoot.

Mostly. They will fade out a bit as they get older and color can vary between individuals, but they usually stay very bright.

Didn't get a picture but Atari just reinducted me into the Bite Club the other day, only the second snake bite I've ever had to draw blood although I've been bit without mark more times than I can count. He was in a bad mood and bit me twice while I was getting him out to feed him, the second time piercing skin in three places. That was the first time he's even threatened to bite me, usually he is fairly calm. Serenity is the biting fiend of the pair, although she has never broken the skin.

Finally getting pretty good with my husband's camera, I got these two pictures of Atari the other night.

Then my husband came by a bit later and took these without realizing that I'd taken a few earlier.
