Progression thread: Haze

Thank you very much! I'm twitterpated. Her face is so sweet! Last week I put the camera down and spent my short handling minutes just bonding (if there is such a thing with snakes... In my humble and admittedly limited experience, I personally think there is some bonding/imprinting going on) she fed Tuesday, so I will most likely get a new pic or 2 in the next few days.

Her weight before her feed was 16.8 g. Exactly one g less than a couple days before but I cannot find poop in her viv anywhere. Any tips where to look for it? I've only seen her poop once since I got her Aug 15th. Is that normal?

ETA: no smell in her viv either. I think I'd smell it if it were there

When they are eating pinkies, their poop is generally quite small and dries very quickly. It tends to not smell very much at all once it's dried. If they are on aspen or some other particulate substrate, it can be very hard to find! Just wait until she is big enough to eat a weanling size mouse though! That won't be hard to find ...

Thanks! I've got the fever! I already want another one. Eek!

She was really curious tonight. Up my skirt, down the shirt...lol. Even up my face and in my hair! Then she ate 2 pinks like a champ.

Yeah, they are very addictive! I got my first corn in Sept '08 and currently have 33 snake keepers, not counting babies that are for sale, representing 13 different species. It doesn't help that I married a man also interested in snakes too, so a bunch of those were also ones he bought.
