Q-Tip and Sunglow

I thought a sunglow was one thing and a bubblegum was something else. What in the world is a q-tip, besides something you stick in your ear.

A motley to a sunglow (amel) will give you normals het amel motley unless they share some hidden hets.

A Sunglow, per DonS, is not just an Amel with no borders. A Sunglow has an added red wash to it, that gives it added red/brightness.
DonS used to have a photo comapring an Amel with no borders and a Sunglow.

I do not know if they determined that Red Coat (recessive gene-DonS calls them Red Mask) is also a contributing gene as the Red Factor (dominant gene) in producing Sunglows.

If your Sunglow has RF, about half of the babies should be visual RF. Otherwise, all of the babies will be het Amel and Motley, as Megan said.

If your q-tip motley is a moonstone (anery lavender) motley, then you'll get normal babies het for amel, anery, lavender, motley.
