Hello all you beautiful well-informed folks! I have a few questions for small-scale hobby breeders.
I have a 600 gram normal stripe female who is just about 5 feet long. I have been thinking about getting a butter stripe male to breed with her. I would probably save one het female to breed back later. I have never bred before and I am a little intimidated by how prolific corn snakes are. Basically my question is, how do you find homes for 30 babies? Do you sell locally, sell to pet stores (not awful ones obviously), sell online? With her size it's likely she would produce a hefty clutch.
All of the babies would be normal stripes het for amel and caramel (unless I am misinformed). I will be getting a butter stripe whether or not I decide to ever let them do the deed, because I <3 them. This is basically just curiosity at this point.
