Have anyone had their girlfriend or wife complaining about you goin
on this site alittle too much?
I kept getting saying "Oh comeon, please get off this site, you are sooo addicted to it", I was like I can't help it. Everybody here is SO nice, and I like them. When we went to Petco, they got 2 different new boa constricter, Central American and Red-Tailed. We asked some guy who works there, to handle the Central American. My girlfriend all suddlney fell in love with one of them and wanted it so bad, but we can't have any constricter snakes around in this house because my parents would be paraniod about their bengal.
Sorry, got alittle off-topic here.
Anyways, anyone with that kind problem when loved one complains too much? LOL
 
She Who Must Be Obeyed never complains to me about anything. She tells me what she wants me to do and I do it. :grin01:

I have an addictive AND obsessive/compulsive personality, so I really tend to be extreme with things. I literally could sit on my pc all day and let my kids fend for themselves if I didn't try to be a little disciplined. There are a million and one jokes one could make about spending too much time on their computer, but the reality is that, as was already posted, moderation is key. You've got to step away if it's truly interfering with your REAL LIFE relationships. Cyberfriends are awesome, I'd never deny that, but I think there have been enough new studies done on depression/anxiety, suicide, stalking, etc etc etc due to spending so much time in cyberspace that it has to be recognized as a real issue.

So with that in mind, get your girlfriend a computer, set it up right next to yours and peruse cs.com together. You'll get her addicted too and all will be right in the world. ;)
 
Wow, I think I have same addiction.
Everytime I go anywhere, I think about my computer, and also this site.

If internet is down, I would go CRAZY.
My girlfriend wouldn't go on CS.com, but she usually check here out
once in while, but I tried to get her to get into it. All she does is to
spend time in Myspace and I don't really care about it anymore.
I wish I could have money to afford her a new computer, and also mine too because
I have Toshiba Satelite but I am bored with it already, and it's nearly 3 years old.

Wade you have it so right the main reason for long marriage and living to a ripe old age, maybe living at all. When I say jump hubby does and asks if it was high enough after or at least he lets me think I am the obeyed one. It is a wise man who lets his wife at least think she is charge.:noevil:

My mother is okay with me being here as long as I do it in moderation and it doesn't take up all of my life...
I myself don't think it's normal to spend hours and hours on the computer and in front of the telly. Just not natural...
 
Every time I start to tell my girlfriend a story she cuts me off and says "is this about fantasy football or cornsnakes.com?".

She doesn't care if I'm on here when she isn't around...but if she is here its GAME OVER for cs.com
 
Chris is fine with me doing whatever I want, whenever I want. So I reward him by putting down the laptop for snuggletime :grin01:

Boy they learn this reward system early don't they. SWMBO doesn't even talk to me about it any more. I've been married 38 years and I know if I don't take out the trash there won't be any "snuggling" in our house.

OTOH, she is a pretty good snuggler.
 
Well I don't technically have a boyfriend..... but my "friend" doesn't seem to care how much time I spend on cs.com. Actually I am on here now while he is watching the History channel. We all have our little so called "obsessions".:crazy01:

However, since I am new to this whole corn snake thing.... I think all my family and friends (with the exception of one .... yes that would be you Trent), is tired of hearing about snakes. But that doesn't stop me, I still try to convince them how cool they actually are. :)

Lol, whenever I tell her more information about our snakes, she go like "*sigh*, I don't want to hear about anything more infomations."
Whenever, she's gone to work, and text me whenever she get bored, "What are you doing, still on CS.com??."
Whenever she's at home with me, she would steal my laptop and mess around with myspace :rolleyes:, typical.

Wow, I've noticed alot of others don't really mind if spend too much
on CS.com. I would say that's normal. lol
