Quick advice needed about my milksnake please!

My Pueblan milksnake, Milkshake (26 g when he was weighed about 4 days ago), ate a small fuzzy (4.8 g), and then went to soak in his water dish. He is always in his warm hide, which is heated with a UTH, controlled by a thermostat. He hadn't been soaking before feeding him, and I didn't notice that he looked dull or anything. He has also never soaked in his dish before, which is great if he's about to shed but it's probably about 70 degrees in that water dish. :(

Do I risk moving him into the warm hide?

I should say he ate this last night at about 11 PM and then I put him in his cage and went to bed. He was in the dish in the morning, so I am unsure if he was there all night.

Personally I would just leave him be. If he wants to warm he will move over there. Hate to bother him to much since he just ate. My Pueblan does weird things like that as well.

Okay, I'll leave him. I usually don't see him for days after he eats, so it's odd that he's out in the open in his water dish after a meal! I just don't want him to regurge or have his food rot in his stomach or something.

yeah leave him alone, hell be fine. lol

my little milk snake digests on his warm side and his cool side and I haven't had one regurge.. and your guys much bigger than the 9 g hatchling I have.. lol hell be fine. :)

Thanks. Just got a callback from the breeder and he said yeah, leave him alone.

I guess I get used to their routines, and then when they do something different, it really throws me off!
