Here are my daughters, Brooke and Bailey, with 2 of our Corns. On the left, Brooke is holding a Normal. On the right, Bay has our male Okeetee.

Great job!

I was lamenting the fact that we'll probably live somewhere where I can't keep corns in the future and I'd wanted to pass on the love of corns to our kids, to which Thomas replied... 'Can't our kids have normal pets?'

Great job promoting the less common pet to the next generation of herp fans.

Great pics! Beautiful daughters too. Hope you don't mind, can't pass up a chance to show my assistant. :wavey:

I'll say it again...There is nothing better than being able to share the love of these wonderful creatures and this hobby with your kids. :D

I, too, love to see other young ones with "the passion". Thanks for sharing yours!

The neat thing about being 37 is that you only have to convince your wife, not your parents, to let you do things LOL!

Ok, so now I have to share. And yes I agree it's great to be an adult living on your own, you an make your own decisions about pets... however restrictions are still there, the husbans seys I can only have one more Corn snake... ;) We only have 1 so far :shrugs: oh well.

Anyway... I have 4 kids of my own, all the same age. 2 year old Quadruplets infact. So they are a little small to be holding our pet just yet, however they LOVE to see him and get so excited about him. Here are 2 photo's of just 2 of my children peeking at our Corn Phinius.

Wow! Quadruplets! It's amazing you have time to care for even 1 snake!
By ditching the domestic partner altogether, the only one I have to answer to, is my own conscious. I hardly ever listen to that loser! :grin01:

Though we aren't having kids, we never miss a chance to invite friends and co-workers over with their kids to visit. We've made some converts that way!!

Mike, you just need to find the right person. I got plain lucky with someone who says, "Ok" to pretty much any snake I want to bring home. It's probably not as easy to find a woman as eager to amass a reptile collection. Maybe Rich should start a dating forum....

It isn't a corn, but I just got my son his first snake Saturday. It is part of his Christmas present, and he chose a ball python. Its name is Monty, but my Cody has no clue as to who Monty Python is. He named him after Uncle Monty from A Series of Unfortunate Events. Right after this pic was taken, we put Monty up to get settled.
