Cohabbing is cruelty...
The first thing I did was to test the pieces of metal the vet removed with a magnet, and it stuck fast. The magnet is big enough to pull a whole mouse out of the tub if there is any metal in it. The magnet lifted a piece of metal in the air that was heavier than any mouse....so, I'm not worried about that (as much anyway). And I do do the finger squishing now too!
Over the past few weeks I have made sure that he's in a clean envirnment. The wounds are closed, and he finished his antibiotics this morning so infection is less of a worry. I just hope that the damage he sustained won't prevent him from eating.
And Kathy, you are right about him being a well established boy. He was eating a hopper every 5-7 days. But he hasn't eaten since Oct 5 now....
