This morning I got my first eggs of the season. They came from a pairing of Angela's Pandora, a pied ghost, and John's Rackham, a hypo pied. The finally tally is 8 fertile, 1 questionable, and 4 slugs. Not too shabby for virgins.

John loaned me a pair of hypo pieds last year and Angela sent me Pandora so she would have one less snake to travel with. I put 1 and 1 together! Don't worry, both Angela and John knew what was up before I began the pairing.

I just got back that Ghost Blood pied's sister but who is not near as big as her and had the same idea for that pairing. I can't wait to see what comes from these eggs.

The questionable egg is good, so the total is nine. I'm pretty anxious to see what comes out. It's going to be a long 55 days.
