Ok, I have HAD IT with the stupid pet store in this miserable province. It's the only one I know of that sells frozen mice, rats etc... Back in december my snake was on fuzzie mice and they ran out (and STILL have not gotten any in) so, after a while I asked what they always have and they said "Adult frozen mice".
So, with the help of hundreds of pinkie mice I made the decision to power feed (yes, power feed :( ) in order to get my snake large enough to eat small adults. It worked (she was fairly large anyways) but now the pet store is out of adult mice for the last month! They keep selling me baby rats as "adult mice" only for me to find out that they are rats when my snake rejects them.

Does anyone know of a business that will ship frozen adults to me? I know my snake can go a while without eating but the unreliability of the store leaves my snake's feeding future up in the air. Oh my..... SO frustrated!!!

Potential solution:
Get your corn to recognize rats as food in addition to mice.

How do you do that? Buy some adult mice-sized rats and a few smaller, say... weanling-sized REAL mice. Hoppers work too. Defrost both a mouse and a rat, and skin the mouse. Put the mouse skin over the head part of the rat, so that when your snake smells it, he smells mouse. Feed em like this for awhile, then try just a plain rat.

The Horror.....The Horror! :D

There are plenty of bulk feeder businesses. You might want to contact a few to see where they ship.

Thanx!!!

I looked at the canadian mouse man website and I think I will order from them! Thanx a million! God I love this corn forum lol

Yes CAV, the horror...lol I think I'll open my own reptile business in the future and do things right.
