Really fast digestion?

So Sir Blinky is only a little over 9 grams, and according to everywhere I've seen, he needs to be eating a single 1 day old pinky every 4-5 days, is this correct information? He seems to be doing good, he eats, goes into his hide and (normally) stays there for 48 hours roughly, HOWEVER, the last 2 times I've fed him, he's out in about 24 hours roaming his cage, and I can't see a bump, is this normal? I feel like he is suddenly digesting really fast, the temps are good, 81-86 warm hide, the other half of the viv is room temp, 70ish. Haven't found any regurges or anything, so is it totally normal for it to only take like 24 hours to digest? The poops have been found randomly, sometimes the same day after he comes out, sometimes two or thee days later. Also, I feed every 5 days (as in feed on Monday, then Saturday, then Thursday etc.) Thanks in advance for any answers! Here's some pics of him just for fun [emoji12]

I don't know about digestion, but he's a nice looking little dude! " morse code' down his back _ dot dot dot dot DASH dot dot dot (grin)

That's pretty normal for a hatchling. You could feed a _slightly_ larger pink than a day old red. My babies that are in the 7-9 gram range that are eating reds are back out looking for food the next day. Of course, they have to wait.

I agree, it sounds normal. I would, however, set your thermostat on 87°, that will give the top of the warm side a temp of about 85° and 75° on the cool end. Babies especially like the warm side best.

Cool, thanks for the answers! I'll start setting that temp tomorrow Smigon, sounds like a great idea!
