I found two of these Red Head Opals or very light Amels in my Lavender het Striped (Casper) X Het Striped Opal Clutch. They are siblings to “Sunset” Lavenders. Do you think they are Opals, Light Amels, or is something else in the mix?

“Cherry” Opals, hum, that has a pretty good ring to it.

Those look like opals~
but the thing is that from that pairing I thought that there wasn't suppose t be any amels or even opals in the clutch....

well unless your lavender het striped is also het amel~~
hahah
but yeah these look like opals but with the 'sunset' looks in it~~

The breeding turned out to be a Lavender het Striped Opal X Het Striped Opal.

I can't quit looking at them. I have never seen a hatchling quite like them. My guess is a very colorful Opal, but there is something about them that makes me question if they really are an Opal. Too much color, now that is a new one!
