Reptibator and Seven's Eggs...

DragonBoy

Crazy Cornsnake Breeder
I decided to get a Reptibator as we are having a cool September and the eggs were looking a little dry. I left it plugged in and set at temp for about 24 hours and it was holding at 85 degrees and 60% humidity. So I took the eggs (mom seemed relieved) and set them on damp vermiculite and layered some damp towels on them and closed the box and set it in. So we will see what happens. I was going to go without a substrate but felt with the eggs a little on the dry side that I was better off starting them this way. I can keep the humidity higher in the box as well. So anyway the photos attached show the empty in my living room under the gold fish tank...through the eggs having been added. More photos are on my facebook page if you want to see them shoot me a PM and I'll give you the location.

I bought one of those on a whim and haven't even taken it out of the box. Let us know what you think of it, I'm getting tired of the fridge with heat tape and thermostat!

I would not say it would hold enough for me to change how I incubate my corn snake eggs but for this one clutch of ball pythons I think it will do just fine. I am curious to see how well they do at the 85 degree mark, and how long they take. The S/O is already bitching about having this "thing" in the living room for the next 2-3 months. Being under the fish tank they are barely even noticeable to most people.:shrugs:
