So... Corns are too cheap... Today I ended up with a couple of I MUST HAVE SO PRETTY!!!! and Oh My god poor snakey you need a home... HOWEVER, I did not fall for the guy who wanted overpriced for unknown genetics and background, or the guy who was charging top dollar for your regular motley when another one was selling the same snake for 40 bucks less...

So for little less than 200 dollars I got 5 new snakes... There was a couple of more I wanted but I stopped myself.. This is enough.. I have a little of this and that in various colors and shades I like now...

Here they are, so far all are nameless but the Brat who bit me and Brat is now her name.. Meet Brat, she drew blood... Paper cut style but owie.. lol

Brat is Hypo Lavender stripe, het amel and either she IS diffused/blood red or she is 100% het.. NOT sure, I don't quite remember which it is however, she is to die for.. He didn't label the cup, I saw her, only little corn in the middle of a bunch of geckos... I picked him up and I asked if this was a lavender of some sort and that she looked amazing.. This one was a complete steal... I don't know why she was as cheap as she was... But she does have a temper.. LOL

Here is a less impressive snake...
Male butter motley, unknown background, but he has a bad eye but was sweet as could be.. I got him and the female (he was trying to tell me she was an orange stripe, normal stripe more like it) for a bargain as they are discarded breeding plans that didn't happen...

last but not least.. Well a little little cutie pie....
She's just an albino het opal (ie Amel het lavender I guess the real name wold be). But she has a butterfly pattern on her back.. I got a little worried though, she has a bump on her belly not far from the butterfly pattern.. the guy said he fed them Thursday.. I was like which baby does not digest from Thursday? So I asked him what happens if she perishes within the month... he said he'd make it right.. He gave me his card and he seems honorable I really couldn't resist the butterfly pattern... meet Mariposa.. the only one who's name came to me 1 2 3... i only took a couple of pictures and let her digest..

wow what a beautiful stripe!!!!!
and ive always wanted a Butter, so ur butter guy is pretty impressive to me lol
glad he has a good home c:
im excited to see the rest of them

That amel has really red saddles and little white, I bet it's going to be a stellar example as an adult.

These are all beautiful! Did you get four or five? What an awesome day you had!! So wish we had expos closer!!

There is a morph called "Orange," it is Amel Buf. I REALLY doubt you'd see one at an expo,
and if you did, the price would be in the hundreds.
I'd guess that snake is a normal stripe, and a very beautiful example.

That is exactly what I thought Nanci, she's not amel, she's black eyed.. But she was 20 dollars and she is pretty so I took her.. ;) besides she's on the thin side so I felt that tug in my heart string again. (sucker on my forehead).

Thank you guys, even though they aren't flawless they are good little animals...

BUT I did forget one.. nice catch Galatya.... I have another stripe....
She is Lavender stripe!! I love my opals and lavenders.. Who am I kidding I LOVE them all... But now I am done for a while.. one more is arriving tomorrow (that I bought a couple of weeks back but weather didn't co operate). she is diffused opal motley het a bunch of things.. lol

'Vent" is the opening to her cloaca. You must mean her "ventral" underside.
It's normal for the white belly of a stripe (or motley) to have freckles of grey
or brown or red or splotches/bleeding of orange or red.
They just would not have square/rectangular belly checks.

Ok good, I got a little surprised about that... Also discovered that my little 'bratty" corn has retained shed on the tail tip and it looks like a couple of them... I suspect she might loose her tip... :( its only like a mm but it still bugs me a little bit that I didn't notice that yesterday..

So I got the shed off with some water and rough gloves.. (I let the snake slitter on them and apply light pressure), but I suspect it's too late.. the tail tip looks strangled.. :(

I can bet money it will fall off within the next week or two... :(
