Rescue a year later (lots of pics)

We picked this girl up last year from a local store that someone had dropped off a few days before. She was found wrapped around the motor of a fridge trying to stay warm in a house that had no power and new owners. Vet checked and had a broken spine that had already started to heal and scrapes from being pulled out from under the fridge. Now after a year she looks like a whole new snake, aside from the curve in her spine from the break. Not the best pics but gives you an idea

Just weighed today and she's at 684g and easily 3ft long.

Wow, you have done a great job with her, she is just beautiful!!!
In the first pic I see a few dark spots...is that dirt or is she a paradox?

She still hasn't lost her appetite, she's kinda my garbage feeder for my het. pied and boa. Hubby named her Evil because of he attitude when you open the tub. The dark spots on her body were scrapes she had gotten when they pulled her out and have since healed up nicely.

Hold on..... I had to go check and make sure that Gypsy was still in her cage, because this snake looks just like her, without the neck scar of course... She is very lucky to have found her way to you.

Thank you for the compliments everyone :) I'm glad no one's said she's overweight, this has been my biggest worry since she's the first adult corn we've had. She's a sweetie when out of the tub but you gotta be quick when getting her out or she'll tag you. She's gotten me twice this past year because I didn't get in and out quick enough. lol It's taken her almost 8 months to get the use of her tail back since she's been with us. Now she has full control of it and does not want to let things go once she's wrapped around something.

She'll never be able to lay eggs because of how the break has fused. This does still bother me because I have no clue how long she was loose for and never know if a wild corn or rat snake hooked up with her before she was found. As of yet, she's only looked fat and ready to eat at any time.

Actually, she doesn't have any scaring on her neck, any scrapes she had were all on her lower half. If you look at the first pic you can see the large scrape towards her tail which is where the break in her spine is. As of today you can't tell that she was scraped up that bad a year ago.

I was speaking about my snake..LOL... Yours looks just like her, except Gypsy has a scar on her neck from a live feeding incident.

She looks good, great that you helped her! But to be honest, her weight seems pretty high for her length, but she doe snot look really fat.... so most probably she actually is longer or weighs less... I'd expect a fatty corn by weight and lenght alone....

I may have her length wrong since I've never tried to measure her either.

I may have said something too soon cause I think she my be gravid. Past 3 days she's been roaming her tub and not her usual crabby self. Offered food this week and last and she's refused. She just shed around the 17th and did a quick feel of her body and there's about 10 ping pong ball sized lumps down the lower half of her body. I've been soaking her once a day for about 13-20 mins but nothing. Any other ideas?

Well 24 hours later and she's laid 16 eggs and is down to 562grams. Guess we'll find out if any are good or not in a few days.
