Thank you!

I have bookmarked the site and will look at it more closely later.

One suggestion: On your page for buf, the link to the English version is located at the end of the page. More people would see the link if it was at the top of the page.

I dont see an english button. And I have often wondered what the BUF gene is.

There is a link there for Chuck's thoughts.. Probably the exact same thing in the CMG..

Seriously, couldn't you pick a less awkward name than "Buf"? Whatever, if it really is a new gene, once it gets on the market a more savvy seller will give it a name that rolls off the tongue better.

The name "buf" works for me. It certainly rolls of the tongue better than amelanistic or anerythristic.

Stormy, the fourth button on the left of slangenbroed's home page is "Buf". That took me to the Dutch version of the page. At the end of the Dutch version, there are the words "Klick here for the Englisch version." Clicking on the word "here" took me to the English version of the page.

I think if someone has found or created something new, they have the right to name it whatever they want.
I agree totally with what Jay just said. Totally arrogant. :nope:

I agree.... I wanted to say something when I first read it yesterday, but I didn't wanna be accused of singleling someone out.. I also agree, its Jan's find, his name.. Why not...

First of all I would like to thank you for your time posting this information.
As a layman, I'm still confused about all of this but the info helps.

How about adding some pics of the "buf" animals to the page, as examples?
I agree with this.

And again I agree. Buf rolls pretty well off my tongue.
Do you have braces on or something?

I think that would be nice, too. It would actually be nice to see the family tree, in pictures. It's a difficult gene for me to understand.
