What addiction?!
This will be 2 post. Romeo will be first then Juliet.
Ok I got these 2 back in October '07. They were sold to me as '05s and they were pretty small. It took us a long time to get these guys to eat right. They never wanted to eat or would only eat about every 2-3 weeks and refused any thing bigger than a large pinkie. So to get them to eat, my husband would hold them for a bout 5 minutes, then he would hold them over the bowl containing the thawing mice to get them smelling the food. Finally, he put the pinkie in a tote and held the snake over the food. They would eat but not if he tried to put them down. Trust me when I say they were a very frustrating pair. :headbang: For the past couple months they have done a complete turn around. I can put their food in a 6 qt container, add snake, close lid and they will eat. Usually within 10 minutes. They have also managed to be moved up to hoppers. The female can handle a small weanling some times. They can still be a bit picky still. Every once in a while they refuse the item, so I switch it out for a smaller one and it works. Juliet is very sweet, always has been. Romeo is a whole nother story. He bit me so many times I started to think he was just evil. But he's calmed down now.
