Salazar's New Vivarium

Snake Dave

Schrödinger's cat
Hey everyone

You may, or may not know this, but I had to find my Python a new home after a series of events which ended in my Mother getting hurt. So I was forced to get rid of her.

On Wednesday I spent 30 minutes or so cleaning out her vivarium, which is a 36" * 18 * 18 display tank. I decided to move my Corn, Salazar, into the tank. So I ordered a load of new hides and decor for him to play with, and I just finished building it, so I thought I'd show you all some pictures. I hope you like what I've done with the place, lol. :)

All the best

David

Thanks mate, yeah, he spent a while exploring one half of the tank, then got bored and sleepy and burrowed into the aspen lol. He's never had aspen before, he's always been on paper towel, so it's a new experience for him.

beautiful! the new viv that i am getting (IF it ever arrives from Hagen!) is also a 36x18x18. i may have to use your viv as a reference when setting it up! nice job for sure!

Sorry to hear about your python, you must have been gutted. Never mind , i bet your corn is loving his new home, nice setup

Thanks for all the lovely comments guys! Yeah he's loving it. :)

Oh and the funny thing is, it's not finished yet. They didn't have any branches in stock when I placed my order, but they're now going to deliver it free of charge for me, so I'll have to alter it a little.

He has a total of 4 hides in there, but he also has the aspen and the plants to hide under/behind. You can't see one of the hides because it's hidden behind the plant on the far right. :)

Ha ha I know, and I was hoping to get something in Hamm. But that's not gonna happen now unfortunately :(
