shedding

Hiya! Do snakes shed every month? I've had my corn for about 3 months and he has shed every month that i've had him. I'm just wondering if it's normal or if something is bothering him? He did have mites in April but we got rid of them straight away.
Thanx :)

How old is your snake? My sub-adults that are younger than 2 years old all shed about once every 4-6 weeks, but my adults only shed a couple of times a year, unless they're breeding. They'll shed more often if they're injured, but as a gerneral rule, juveniles shed up to once a month and adults shed a handful of times each year.

He's around 2 years old. He doesn't seem injured i can't feel anything on him or see anything. He's very active and always moving around his viv except when he's in blue which i know is normal anyway. It's just he seems to shed alot an i don't know why :shrugs:

He might just still be growing. I have a pair of ghosts that are almost two, and they're still shedding every 5 weeks like clockwork. :shrugs: It doesn't sound like anything to worry about to me.

Yeh it seems to be around the same date every month so maybe he is still growing. Thanx for the help. :)
