I am a shipping novice this year -is there a primer on the site for do's and don'ts- label harmless corn snake etc but what else.also I keep getting crazy high rates just plugging zips in fedex web site

I've only shipped a few times, and I've used shipyourreptiles.com. They sometimes have coupon codes, and the one I used last was Beardie40 for 40% off a shipment. I have no idea if it's still valid, though. I found their website really easy to navigate and it gives you pretty specific instructions for shipping.
