yet another opinion from a newbie
Well to start with I am glad I am the one who sparked the conversation, when I see the “not rudeness to young children or people with language barriers” I cringe and yes some do get rude. I have given off answers like: “Just who are you”
But here we go with one of the biggest problem who are you Taceas/Misty, your answer was great and appreciated. Becky G "the same question asked for the 3,000,000th time Than Kitty “I remember asking about a month or so ago.” Sounds a little rude!
With all due credit to Joe, I think the FAQ's are hard to find and under-utilized. Who is Joe?( Taceas/Misty post) Still don’t know how to add quotes. Also Carol you were great with your answers and comments.
While I agree these questions are mundane and I would love a place to go get answers and I do get tired of the same repeated questions, today yet another about preferred bedding question. Some of this I agree is pure laziness as reading old posts will give answers. There seems to be two types of questioners and two types of answerers (gross generalization) the 13 year old asking and the 12 year old expert answering. Than Dean or someone as wise steps in and sets the story straight. Than it’s on between the more knowledgeable and even more knowledgeable. Someone gets blamed for scaring newbies. While it is good entertainment, it intimidates some from asking questions, like me and I am 57 should have broader shoulders.
Sooo after my rambling yes there was great help and borderline rudeness and good frustration on the part of older members wanting to make it easier for new people.
