Size/Age

Females are a little smaller than males. Females average around 4 feet. Most corns that are over 5 feet are males. Six feet is about the maximum size for a corn snake. The ones that do get to that size are considered very large.

I think I remember reading that the record for the longest living cornsnake is a little over 32 years but most are not likely to live quite that long.

The average life span for a corn snake is around 15 years. 20 is not unheard of and is already considered as very old. And yes, Iris is right, I too have heard that a corn snake living for 32 years before.

They tend to grow to around 4 -5 feet. For some reason, my female hypo is considered to be very large since she has not been bred before. She is not 4 1/2 feet long and VERY fat. As big as a male.......(also trying to put her on a diet......make her swim and excercise)

Have fun and Happy Herping!
