For those of you who remember Slingshot's story, I finally got him back home!
A friend of mine has been keeping him since my fiance and I seperated, just until I got back on my feet. She really loved having him around and has always taken pretty good care of him. Since she doesn't have any snakes in the house, I let him stay a while to "keep her company." She is also Rick's fiance (Rick is my ex partner), and we did not end the partnership on good terms. It sort of worried me at first letting him stay there after Rick and I went our seperate ways, but I trusted her.
I hadn't been able to get over there and see him for about 2 months until the other day. Since the blow up between Rick and I, she has been distant and our friendship is not what it used to be. I expected that though. I didn't expect her to take it out on my snake. I was absolutely appalled at what I saw! Poor dear had gone for who knows how long without water, had lost a ton of weight, and was fighting a bad shed and a horrible RI. I'm not sure if this is a personal vendetta and nor do I care anymore. I'm just happy to have him back. It gives me a chance to do what I do best... baby and pamper my kids
Of everyone, I'd say that this guy would have to be my absolute favorite snake. This is an old pic. I will try to get a recent one soon.
